SAT Prep - Parents' Club is offering a class to help students prepare for this important test. This class will provide students with an understanding of the test format and content, as well as basic strategies the students can use to determine what they need to study and how to improve their scores.

The cost is $60, which is substantially less than the cost of comparable workshops offered by corporate test preparation agencies. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required. No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline unless the class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, or because of absences caused by personal emergencies. Profits from the class will be returned to the SHS students in the form of Parent Club contributions to the high school for projects, programs, equipment and supplies.

The class is offered over two Saturdays from 9:00 am. to 1:00 pm. Currently, SAT prep classes are January 9 & 16. Classes will be taught by Megan Hutchison and Casey Clinch, Snohomish School District teachers. The class location is TBD. Students should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Students should bring two No. 2 pencils, picture ID, paper for taking notes, and SAT approved calculator. Please check the website www.collegeboard.com for complete rules and regulations regarding testing policies, including calculator specifications, or obtain this information from the SAT registration booklet available in the counselors’ office. Snacks will be provided. If you have registration questions contact the Panther Parent Club at shspantherparentclub@yahoo.com. A registration form may printed by clicking here.
