Sports & Entertainment Conference

DECA attends the National Sports and Entertainment Marketing conference. It is held in Orlando, Florida each February. It is a whirlwind tour of theme parks and attractions while at the same time a chance to learn from top marketers in the sports and entertainment fields.

New York Experience

The New York DECA Experience trip is a chance to see the the best of the most exciting city in America. Students get to see the sights of New York including Time Square, Statue of Liberty, Broadway, and shopping areas. They also focus in on the sports industry with a tour of Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, and a visit with the Sports Illustrated marketing team. The hit the fashion industry with some inside looks at Macy's and local designers. They top it all off with a Broadway play or two and the Blue Man Group.

Field Trips

DECA regularly attends the Seattle Supersonics "Pro Sports Career Day" and the Seattle Mariners "DECA Night at the Mariners" and other educational as well as fun trips.
