As we begin a new school year, one of the most important things families can do to support student success is prioritize regular school attendance. Every day a student is in school is an opportunity to learn, build relationships, participate in classroom experiences, and develop habits that support long-term success. While occasional absences are sometimes unavoidable, consistent attendance helps students stay connected, engaged, and on track academically.

Snohomish School District participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program sponsored by the USDA. All families who meet federal income eligibility may apply for meal benefits and can access additional district and community benefits with this annual eligibility. Any family is encouraged to apply to receive these benefits if you think your household will qualify. Swing by your school library for stories and smiles, and keep an eye out for the Book Café rolling through neighborhoods with free books to spark summer reading fun.
