National Honor Society

National Honor Society membership in the Snohomish High School chapter is both an honor and a privilege bestowed upon a prestigious group of students. Selection for membership is by a Faculty Council and is based on the four pillars of the National Honor Society. These pillars are outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service. Once selected, the members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities.

  • Students who are eligible to apply for membership into Snohomish High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society will receive an invitation email with an attached application form to turn in late September/early October.
  • Students must be a Junior or Senior with a 3.5+ cumulative GPA to be eligible.
  • Potential member’s records will be reviewed by their administrator. Any offenses in their records (grades 9-12) that do not comply with the four pillars of the National Honor Society may disqualify them for membership.
  • The Faculty Council will review the applications and the adviser will notify applicants of their decision.
  • An Induction Ceremony will be held in early November for new members and their families.
