CTE Dual Credit
Students may earn college credit through a local college at the same time as they earn high school credit for one of the specific Snohomish High School courses listed below by completing it with a B or higher. Courses are subject to yearly approval by partnering colleges, so some courses ultimately may not be offered for college credit. Snohomish High School course instructors will give students registration information and instructions when it is time to do so.
Information about CTE Dual Credit to consider
- There is a fee associated with each individual partnering college, not each individual class.
- Credit cannot be awarded retroactively; students must register for and pay for the courses in the year in which they take the course and must meet the deadlines for registration and payment.
- Grades earned in the courses are recorded on a college transcript and affect both high school and college GPAs.
- College credit transferability is subject to receiving college policy, and it is the student’s responsibility to research those policies.
